Owner
Roxy Morris is a professional dance teacher specializing in teaching ballet, jazz, and contemporary company classes. At the age of three she began taking ballet classes in Miami. After her teacher became pregnant she was transferred to a new studio where she learned Modern and Jazz. At eight years old she went to her very first dance competition with Patricia Penenori Dance for Modern and Ballet numbers and was accepted in a performing arts Elementary School, South Miami Elementary. Next, she began studying Flamenco and Acting. When Roxy was 9 she walked into the opportunity to work for Univision, a Spanish TV network.
Roxy started taking classes at Miami Conservatory of Ballet where she learned pointe starting at age 10. For the next few years she worked for the TV station Univision on shows such as Sabado Gigante, Christina, Latin Grammy Awards, Copa Oro, and El Gordo y La Flaka. She took Jazz and Ballroom classes for 6 years under Manny Castro, the owner of Dance Town Miami. For High School Roxy continued in performing arts at Coral Reef Magnet where she learned how to dance Lyrical and continued Modern. Through her high school years she was a company member at New Image Dance Company currently known as Miami Dance Project, where she continued competing under Barbara Delgado. She was also given her first opportunity as a dance teacher's assistant and then a dance teacher. After graduating she moved to Los Angeles, CA where she got her Bachelors of Science in Fashion Marketing, Merchandising, and Management. After having kids she found herself back in classroom settings in a Christian Performing Art Studio and Elementary- High school. She has a passion for helping students grow, and teaching proper technique to motivated students. |
Ms. Caitlyn
Dance Instructor
Caitlyn was born and raised in a small town in Eastern Kentucky. She started dancing and doing gymnastics when she was only 3 yrs old. She was trained in baton, ballet, hip hop, jazz, tap, contemporary and lyrical. In sixth grade she became a part of a musical theater known as Jenny Wiley Theater. She was a part of the theater for 4 years. She was an ensemble in musicals such as The Wizard of Oz, Music Man, Peter Pan, and High School Musical. She joined Dance Etc. when she was 13. There she continued training in dance and was selected to be on their competition team. The competition team traveled all over the Eastern United States. She competed in hip hop, pom, and lyrical. She also was in the Nutcracker for 6 years, playing roles like the Joker, Arabian, Dew Drop Fairy, and the Russian. She went to Morehead State University and graduated with her Bachelor’s in Business Administration. Caitlyn has kept up with her studies by becoming a Registered Yoga Instructor in 2019. She is excited about getting back to her roots and teaching dance at Moonlight Dance Studio.

Mr. Justin
Dance Instructor
Mr.Justin started attending Dance Central in 2006 as an assistant to former Ballroom & Latin instructor for Utah, Mrs. Hillary Bastian. He started studying ballroom in 2004 at Harmony School under Mr. Christian & Mrs. Hillary. In 2006 Justin proudly participated in Harmony High School’s nationally ranked ballroom & Latin team, which won 1st place in the 2nd division in the National Championships held in Salt Lake City/Provo, Utah.
As a student of the Bastian’s, Justin took class from Mrs. Elena Grinenko (Dancer) on Dancing with the Stars & had the privilege of dancing alongside other stars of the same show in the Disney Christmas Parade in Orlando, FL. Mr. Justin team-teaches with his wife/dance partner of 15 years, Pro Arm professional Ballroom Dancers. Justin & Lisa had the privilege of working as teachers of the Harmony High School Ballroom Dance Team from 2012 to 2014.Outside of teaching, Mr. Justin enjoys photography, music, theater & spending time with his family. |
